Little Bo Peep

Little Bo Peep has gone off her sheep, she said she'd rather keep chickens
I think it's an excuse and it's just that she sees eggs as being rich pickings
She went off to market to sell off her sheep but got lost along the way
She ended up in a field and according to signs her home was miles away 

The sheep stayed by her side and guided her home loyal until the end
She then realised what a mistake she had made her sheep were real friends
She decided that chickens were noisy and decided to keep the sheep
The sheep didn't care either way they'd gone to the barn for a sleep

She'd taken her sheep for granted, counted her chickens before they were hatched
When really she'd got the best friends with loyalty that couldn't be matched
I guess the moral of the story is to appreciate what you've already got
The grass is not always greener it's better to accept your lot
