Little doll

Little doll

Little doll, why do you cry?

we have changed you, modified you

sculpted you into everything you ever desired to be.

Plucked the hair like the feathers off a white swan,

you screamed like a savage with a sickly smile

as we sewed in the new (you could be beautiful too)

Tainted the skin from porcelain to sallow

A white lioness skinned of her purified colour.

You body was limp but oh how wonderful.

Ripped you open from head to toe

tore out that ruby gala that was guarded by none.

Replacing it with rotting fruit left behind by your most wicked demons.

Little doll, why do you cry?

You are everything and more that you ever desired

still you sit with your beauty on the cold, marble shelf

the last remaining angel awaiting her fall.
