Little Guy

Little Guy

Sunglasses hide emotion
I swallow weakness away
So judgemental
I try to fight it
Little Guy I gotta say
Picture a graph of emotion
Measurement day by day
Hateful yet foregiving,
Easy-going but pretending,
Annoying and condescending,
Needy and greedy,
Grieving and weeping
Disbelief has me seeking
Empathy has me screaming
Peace has me dreaming
But I'm not sleeping, only thinking, and I just wish it would stop
$5 a pop they say
I swallow weakness away
Fear change, but
I change everyday
Fighting to be free
Fighting this Little Guy
That's the devil in me
