Little One

As you lay on my chest.
Listening to the sound of my heartbeat.
Its like music to your ears.
Looking down at you i cant help but shed a tear.
My precious child so innocent and peaceful. 
Thinking to myself, where has the time gone? 
Before i know it you'll be grown
Out and about in the world trying to make it on your own.
No matter what you'll always be my baby
