Its true they do...
But yet I get nothing from you...
Not a kind word, not even a touch of concern...
Little things mean a lot...

Nothing I want from you costs money, 
Yet I feel I'm asking to much of you...?
It's all the little things you just don't wanna do...
You don't wanna walk with me,
you don't wanna talk with me...
It's all the little things that I know you could do to fight for me, we, us...
Why are the little things I'm asking, asking a lot...
& why am I feeling its gonna be a great expense for me just to see a glimmer of the man that I use to know,
I don't wanna let go my heart, my soul...
Should I stop trying, I certainly want to stop crying...

But I suppose not if they no longer love you...
