Little Timothy Thompson 🤣

Dragging the wet slobbery legs of his two teddy bears

He had been sucking those limbs after saying his prayers

Praying for lots of Christmas presents down stairs on the chairs

So he crept in bare feet and stood at the living room door

Shuffling his toes on that soft tartan floor

Had Santa Claus called and left all the toys he’d asked for

Timothy had wrote Santa a letter and asked for goodies galore

Well this anticipation was too much to bare

As he opened the living room door and ran to the rocking chair

There was wrapped up gifts in all shapes and sizes strewn everywhere

And as he looked all around not a sound did he make

As he read Timothy Thompson that was his own name sake

Even the pet Cockapoodle was not wide awake

When Timothy picked out his parcels and gave them a shake…

Now Timothy had been a good boy, he had done what he was told

Muffled up, keeping his coat and hat on when outside coz it was getting cold

In fact all through December, Timothy had made a special effort to be as good as gold

He couldn’t remember the last time that he had to be scold

So his brand new bicycle and a blue cycling hat

Was stood all shiny underneath the Christmas tree, Timothy was delighted with that

But then he got overexcited and bashed a cardboard box, with his new wooden cricket bat
