LIVED LAUGHED LOVED
IĀ reminisceĀ of the years that went so quickĀ
of my childhood dreams and teenage kicks
Thoughts of the day I wed,Ā atĀ twenty three
though walking down the aisle was ntĀ really me
I found outĀ IĀ wasĀ pregnant that was a joy
notĀ aĀ care if the baby wereĀ a girl or a boy
nine months on IĀ gave birth to myĀ aĀ sonĀ
A lovely time in life, becomingĀ a mum
So much so five years later, with a girl I was blessed
a pigeonĀ pair,Ā twice nowĀ i`d made my nestĀ
The years sped by the children thrived
but sadly my marriage had ntĀ survivedĀ
In a relationship yearsĀ later IĀ lost a baby
loving thoughts of boy,or a little lady
A heavenly angel that IĀ will never forget
a test in life with so much hurt and regret
From then the years thereafter were notĀ great
a bad relationship,Ā loved ones passed andĀ best mate
I just want to be happy,for the years i`ve left to liveĀ
like when IĀ becameĀ a mum, I stillĀ have love to give
If i m lucky to have a few years left here on earth
I will hope to reminisce on someĀ fun and mirth
I guess before IĀ die i m saying IĀ justĀ want to feel contentĀ
that IĀ had lived loved and laughed, howĀ life wasĀ meant

This is a beautifully well written piece our Debs and tells of life and its trials and thrills. I see myself as having grown up when I had my first baby too, my Andrew, he taught me how to be a mum and that prepared me for so many things in life.
