We can only trust that our governments are doing the right thing... Our lives are held in their decisions, now so more than ever. We can only hope the world is a better place to go back to (metaphorically speaking) after all this. Economies will be trashed I am sure and it may be then that we will see even darker days. Take care my friend. There is a lot to think about in your words here. Let's hope its not tyranny x
Very powerful!
The fear is trusting a government who cannot get along, but during this ordeal it seems like they are making a great deal of effort. I think this is the worst outbreak we have ever saw as a world collectively, we were unprepared. But for tomorrow, we'll know what we need a stock of (toilet paper!) and Little Debbie Snack cakes.
Favorite part:
This is where "trust" in our government takes us, this fear of loosing what we have struggled to gain for centuries: freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of choice.
Thank you for sharing your poem, it made me think.
