Living In Sin
So few don't quite understand God's mighty planÂ
Many snub their noses to Him showing a much pompous lack of respect to HimÂ
Living in sin with a man and woman is bad enoughÂ
Add kids to the mix the cycle of damage will be a permanent scar to their heartÂ
Living the Godly way with marriage with His blessing assuredÂ
It is the only way to be free of sin from the heavenly host on highÂ
Too many are blind with their selfish ways to seek to know the truthÂ
With an empathic heart you can help a situation but in time that will lead you down a dangerous pathÂ
Turning your back on Him with a slap to His face , all the while sitting in your pew speaking a truth which all know is not trueÂ
Down a slippery slope this country is headingÂ
Hoping and praying the adults will awaken to teach their kids the ultimate truthÂ
With God you can do anything but with a supposed Godly connection you will surely pay the price in the endÂ
When you have to answer for all your sinsÂ

When he says he will destroy he does...
He also will have mercy when we repent...
I don't know the plans that were made for me...
I do know He would have destroyed me...
Instead He took away my pain...
Doctors remain puzzled...
Though I tried to tell them...
Knowing they hadn't done anything to say...
They had something to do with it...
I am not perfect...
But, He chose to have mercy on me...

hey Hardrocklover good write, interesting perspective to single out just ONE and then speak of condemnation, the bible speaks of MANY sins, yet you single this one out, interesting, I can`t tell you what to write, but would love to see a poem on the so -called seven deadly sins  lust gluttony greed sloth wrath envy pride...there is also a text  saying....  he without sin cast the first stone....and Micah 6 8 shows us how we ought to live as individuals...  He has shown you what is right and what He requires of you  to do justice  to love mercy and to walk humbly with thy >God, just saying....terrific write Hardrocklover I enjoyed reading it, and I`ll get off my soap box if you get off yours, brother
Hi Rock, I've realized over time that is a hard one to talk about. When it come to talking about "living in sin" a lot of people no longer see it as a big deal. Takes lots of courage and bravery to share this. No matter what, the Bible still remains the same and would never change. Nice one.
