A Living Monster

A Living Monster

A mad scientist works through the darkest of nights in the thunder

The thunder rolls and lightening strikes, a stunning moment of a new invention

Digging the graves throughout the night, the bodies he carried to his laboratory

A secret horrific desire to create a man from the parts of the dead, from under

From under the masses of death there lies the research for a new beginning a frightening story

Piecing together, with stitches of mercy for a monster will soon awaken

The brain of another, it can't be right, the heart of a tragic victim, what has he done

Lightening strikes and the electricity sparks the sensation of the body and the mind

He awakens to a shocked but thrilled look of the doctor of madness who calls him "Frankenstein"

The innocent towns people escape, his horrible face, they are petrified, he knows not what to do

He did not ask to live this way, frightened, even he has feelings, a devastating death found, they blamed the living monster

The secret was known, the master mind no more, the cursed mad scientist to blame

Though the living monster was hunted down, humiliated, to death he would be put to flame

Was he the living monster? or was he the victim of a cruel selfish endeavor, an invention gone bad?

As the story goes, the baffling truth, of a living monster man, so sad, a pitiful crime

A living monster, "Frankenstein"
