Poem -

Life's Shovel Or Her Spade

Either be use to remove
What has already been dug
Or become the lady's man
To commence her every dig

You call a woman a hoe
But you will be a shovel
By her being, she get's done
Be it coal, or the gravel

As men we pick our abuse
We're but tools the world over
Back breaking and leg standing
Shovel or spade-discover

Please put me in the service
Of the woman you call hoe
Then let me be her spade
Life would be grand with our show

I ain't no fool, leave me there
What she digs, let me remove
Let pride be you and their cool
Life shows what union can prove

By time life is through with you
Your shape would disappear
Under loads of they who dare
While light is the load I share

My grip is build for her grove
You can call her what you like
We know women pack up tools
Whereas fools, will work with spite
