Loneliness

Lying by her on the bed,
In our cold days, something I did dread.
I knew she will soon leave my home.
Leaving me back, broken and alone.
After having received such a blow,
In the whole world I had nowhere to go.
In my own home I felt homelessness.
No one there to fill my loneliness.
Like an uninhabited island became my life,
No one to repair the damages of the lost strife.
My life was now like a light tower,
Though impressive and helpful, had no admirer.
It must be middle of the night,
I was slept and she left forever from my sight,
And till now that night hasn’t ended,
Piercing my very existence over the period extended.
I thought of making some new friend,
But who would agree to dissolve in my trend.
And even if by chance, I found a holy dove,
How could she ever replace my lady love.
Oh! My lady love come back to me now,
I will try to mend my ways anyhow.
I love you and live for you only,
Now please come back, don’t make me lonely.
Oh! Someone send this message to my half.
Oh! Great pigeon take this letter on my behalf.
My love you should know I’m dying of weariness,
Now please come back & end my loneliness.
