"Loneliness, a man so blue." by Ben Goode 2019 (c)

The darkness pure, in depths so deep.
A heart that's broken, and hard to keep.
I don't know what, I did so wrong?
I thought "I'm fine", and I was strong.
And now I'm numb, I cannot see.
A love that's true, and just for me.
I used to think, I had someone.
But they weren't real, and I have none.
Each night and day, I'd hide my tears.
Filled with sorrow, doubt and fears.
Loneliness, a man so blue.
Writing this, is all I do.
