Long for the Spring
I wish for the springÂ
to come and grow it’s flowers,
covering the hurt and hopeless
with every sun ray shiningÂ
I want for the springÂ
to be colorful,
overcoming the cold and gray
with every flower growing
I hope for the spring
to lighten the weight of our burdens,
alleviating all hearts
with every rainbow forming
I desire for the springÂ
to create happiness within the dark,
making our eyes shine bright
like stars in the night
with every spring coming.
