Longing

Longing

oh, but we both felt in full
the anarchic free fall of love
suppressed clairvoyance
refused reality's envious bite
took all our turns
resisting immortal force
not one wild scheme would suffice
to quell the inexorable yearning
and innate coalescenceĀ
of our alchemy

it had to be everything
or nothing at all

my hands keep spilling ink
ever in your honour
blackened, melodious madness
midnight pools, swirled with tears
an essence of my phantasm
tangibly awakened in artistry
preserve your luscious taste
delicious; savours of summer fruit
longing to let live
that which dies

slow-fading sweetness
on this famished tongue

I sure hope these words are found and enjoyed as much as I enjoyed them and by many so many more who follow in the wake I have left behind ..
