Look Inside
Adversity killed the child in me
Apathy preserved me
All who say I came out strongerĀ
Arenāt aware of how I long herĀ
They say love is strength
And I agreeĀ
I would go to any lengthĀ
For the child I used to be
Am I strongerĀ
Because I can walk longer
Than I used to?Ā
Am I still strongerĀ
When I no longerĀ
Have a reason to?Ā
When the child inside of me diedĀ
Love became suicideĀ
Now thereās nothing left insideĀ
But strength glorifiedĀ
