Poem -

Look Inside

You can't see through my skin,
The bad feelings within.
All's you see is my fake smile,
As my insides rip apart.

You see me as sane,
As I fall from my heart.

I feel the pain, for one more day,
My mind wanders, to a different stay.
Come inside and feel my pain,
And maybe you will go insane.

Another day, another night
I just can't stand to be uptight.
My smile dims to the seeing the next day,
Why don't you leave and just go away.

Feeling guilty for nothing wrong
My guts are falling, but for how long.
You can never know the pain I feel
How to go on before my life is real.

Maybe pills will set me free,
Or maybe alcohol, instead of tea.
Will I make another day?
I pray to God to let me stay.

Please take my pain,
And make me tough,
Because as I look in the mirror,
I realize that life is too rough.
