Look What They Did

Day and night

All he did was cry

He could not fight

He just wanted to die

He told them all

He screamed and yelled

One day he'd fall 

From the pain he held

All that he needed 

Was for God to send

Someone who pleaded

That his life does not end

His mind replays

That violent treating

His heart delays

It skips a beating

If only they knew 

If only they cared

The love was true

The two boys shared

They took that knife

He could not bear

They took his life

And did not care

His spirit's presence

It warmed his heart

Not even the heavens 

Could keep them apart

It's time to fall

No one will grieve 

No one at all

It's time to leave

He took the gun

Put it to his head

It only took one

To kill him dead

Together again 

Their love was strong

Both happy then

Nothing was wrong

It started out as one

Then became two

It could have been none

But that's what they do
