LOOKING BEYOND
Seeing beneath
Seeing around
The underlying
Where truth is found
Seeing inside
A hidden place
Perceiving the pain
On your face
Behind the smile
Behind the eyes
Holy Spirit revealing
As I've come to realize
It's not to uncover
To expose or make bare
But to come to your aid
For Grace is found there
Insight, compassion
Truth to impart
To heal and set free
To mend a broken heart
Exposing the enemy
For what he has done
God sets you free
The victory's won
Seeing beyond
Seeing above
Seeing God's tender heart
So full of love

The way you have constructed this poem it reads to me almost like a ladder with steps leading to the final lines. Some lovely lines and some great rhymes. And I like the way you begin and end with the verb "seeing" then the perfect last line.
