Sitting in the smoldering heat
I am outta body with you in darkness,
Amongst cold depths
I lay Bundled with you
At my bedside,
Listening to old ghosts that
whispering like breaths of carnage
escaping the shallow end
of your soul,
It is here I am home in walls of
Memories and lament figurines
My tears drowning out the sound of your silent
but hostile screams,
Only nightmares dancing around your head,
And I'm holding on so tight
Fighting against the light
Losing time,
Waiting for the moment you realize
What is leaving
Let go of disbelief, start grieving
Losing you in timelessness
A frozen rose that fell,
Darkness casts a shadow
over our very first kiss and I dwell,
I dwell here in this inferno of
Aching,
In a cold darkening hell
Smoldering my heart, this love
The burning I know so well
