If I had a broken leg
It would be plain to see
People would give me sympathy
And feel sorry for me
I don’t have a broken leg
So no one seems to care
The pain I feel inside
is often hard to bear
It stays with me all day
And at night time too
It keeps me company
Like grief and sorrow do
It’s called bereavement
And I am learning to cope
I have to take it
One day at a time
Until I no longer hurt....

Being Me

I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you all the best for today and all the days to come. Bless you x

P.S I am reading that very last line as... Until I NO longer hurt. (not in capitals of course) am I wrong to do this? x

Thank you
Loss is always difficult and the healing process can take some time.
