LOST AND FOUND

He put them in a good place that's for sure
Forgetfulness I'm afraid there isn't a cure
So he looked for them here and also there
No success and it drove him to despair

Under the cushion and still alas no joy
What a to do for this good old boy
Made matters worse he had fading sight
Continued his search both day and night

Behind the settee an instant attraction
Found what he wanted a happy reaction
Maybe he should chain them to his waist
They would then never be lost or misplaced
