Lost And Then Found: ( Sonnet )

Lost And Then Found: ( Sonnet )

As I ebbed and flowed with the vast sea of life,
I realised the solitariness
Of my soul ship. Into blue and green light
I wanted to dissolve. But as I was blessed
By gods of fortune, eventually,
I found a sumptuous island of calm,
After I had encountered so many
Storms. Now I have found a refuge from harm,
The art and the poetry are flowing.
Yet I dare not look back to bleak times,
When I was distracted by futile things.
Currently, with the Muses on my side,
The numerous dreams that were denied
To me, long ago, can be realised.
