Lost boy

Lost boy

There he was,
The lost boy.
Why?
Why was he crying?
One day,
I saw.
Him being bullied
The hurt,
The pain,
The scars.

I should have asked,
“Are you okay?”
Now all I can do is blame myself.
I care.
He knew I blamed myself.
One day he says,
“Don’t blame yourself, it’s not your fault, you helped, now all is okay, I love you.”
“I love you too”
