Lost grip in the end

Suddenly fall silent
Frost climbs the wall
As Nothingness enters the room
Shadows consume the halls
Surrounded, alone with the Dark 

​​​​​​Somehow Inviting something different than this
Enticing new kind of evil
Feel this im losing grip
as it begins.. 
Overwhelmed...,  see Your self become..
The very demon, from which you run

Breathin heavly
Confusion accompanied by whispers
Restless in sleep their voices seeming so distant 
As they appear, to you and no other

Teasing you with words to replace those lost
Very clever there taunting with a promise.. But whats the cost?

In Each step, now you hear the echo
as if something slowly approaching
You realize there coming from within you motionless, gasping the air 

With smiles slightly twisted 
they taunt and they dare
Feeling now in your chest.. your Heart is pounding
Racing faster,  shadow you glance past

Bringing an end to this dream
With each step falling farther 
Try and take a breath, gasping with each attempt
Looking all around only to  see nothing's left..
 
Let all this go, with everything that you regret
Then Just smile as you fall  
 Fading away 
Finally  Letting go of it all
