Lost In A Maze

Lost In A Maze

The silver moon, glowed throughout the night
The coyote's howled, with freight
Owl's echoed, throughout the hollowed wood's
Chipmunks gathered they're goods
The beast was soon, to arrive
The forest, fought to survive
Lost in a maze
Created by the misty haze
The beast, had sent out to hunt
His feet, rustled through the leaves, he would grunt
He would whistle, calling a deer
But even the deer, knew evil was near
The grizzlies began to growl
Wolve's began to howl
The beast let out a shreik
As he gazed upon the reflection of the creek
For he had faced defeat
Searching for something to eat
The animal's gathered around
Each call, was echoing in sound
After all the shot's, that had been fired
The hunter's, were far from admired
The animals too, have a heart
They must stop the forest's from falling apart
The hunting beast, had become hunted that same night
That the full moon, had shone bright
What you reap, is what you sow
That, the hunter did not even know
