Lost Soul

Lost Soul

You touched me
but a young boy
should never speak
when an older girl
violates your trust
creating guilt
and humiliation.
I was only 8!!!!

You were forgotten
I actually for years
had no memory of you
but as a
wicked temptress
you invaded my dreams
requiring a grown man
to analyze what
conflict and hurt
you played on
this pilgrimage

I would like to forgive you
but shame still
blocks
the wound
preventing
the ointment of time
to heal
