LOTTO

LOTTO

I was leaning on the bar in a tropical island,
someone asked me: 'What do you do?' I said: 'Nothing,
I'm retired,' don't say you won money - they'll be after you,
'Oh, that must be exciting,' - 'I said: 'Yes, it's great, mate.'

There was a Robert Redford film, he offered large money,
to spend one night with a lady, 'it will pay all of your bills,'
the importance we attach to money, passport to joy? -
I'm lonely, I'll buy friendship, doesn't always work - doesn't.

God was ready to send me into the world with millions,
he gave me a wry smile - 'Don't spend it all at once!'
I bought a bottle of Armani after-shave for $2oo,
gave myself a dab and then threw it into a waste bin.

I drove my FerrariĀ to a cliff and then jumped out,
I was where I wanted to be, as it disappeared into the sea.

Moral: We don't need all of these things -
be appreciative of what you've got!
