Love

Love

I don't want to talk to you when I am lonely
but rather when I know that my feelings for you are genuine
opposed to in the moment
I want to be with you because I want you
not because I need you
I am complete on my own
I just want you to compliment me

I can be alone, that's not the issue
but I think ultimately we all want someone in the end
whether we admit it or not
It's the truth let's face it
that's human nature

We all desire to be loved
loved so deeply, with such passion that it makes us forget the moment
We look for that "perfect" person,
we get so wrapped in that
that we forget that there is no such thing
The imperfections in someone is what makes them "perfect"

The little things that annoy someone else about them,
Appear absolutely endearing in someone else's eyes.
Their laugh
Their smile
The way their eyes sparkle when you talk about your accomplishments and your goals in life
The way they get excited when you remember a small detail that they have mentioned a few days prior

It's the little things that catch your eye about them

Maybe that's what love is
Simply
all the little things about a person
that is one man's loss
and another man's treasure.
