Love

That four letter word that has many meanings
why is it that four letter word causes all these feelings. 
Joy & happiness followed by pain & sadness why does a four letter word cause all this madness. 
Love for one love for another 
Why cant it just be love for each other. 
The love in my heart for my lover I will never feel for another 
the pain he caused to break my heart has made us fall apart. 
Empty promises filled with lies I can see it all in his eyes.
This man I love so deeply has torn my heart he use to complete me.
Love that four letter word has so many meanings has left me with all these feelings once of joy & happiness that are now filled with pain & sadness
