Love

There was a girl where I used to live

that the neighborhood kids when playing a game never would pick

one day I became captain for my team

and finally she was picked first for something

if you could have saw the smile that her happiness came with

you too would be in love

she smiled like a rose

when being shined on by the sun

when she came up to bat 

she looked at me and she laughed

she said

"Never have I swung first before, I have never felt this happy, Thank you dude, I love you"

and she looked back quick enough to see the ball

she swung and the ball went over the right wall

as she was rounding the bases 

she looked at me

she smiled

as soon as she got to home

she came up to me and gave me a big hug

she asked

"I dont have any friends, do you want to be my friend"?
