Poem -

Love and Loss

O let me live, to feel thy tender grace,
To bask in love’s embrace, so warm and bright,
Where every glance and touch, a sweet embrace,
Illuminates my soul with pure delight.
In every whispered word, a world anew,
Where passion’s fire ignites the darkest night,
And in thy arms, my heart finds solace true,
A symphony of love, our spirits’ flight.

But let me die, if e’er thy love should fade,
If shadows cast their gloom upon our light,
For life without thy touch, a cold cascade,
A barren wasteland, void of all that’s right.
In absence of thy kiss, my soul would weep,
A silent cry that echoes through the night,
So let me perish, in eternal sleep,
If I can’t feel thy love, my heart’s delight.
