LOVE EXPIRES

She collected all the tattoos
from the skin she had posted to him
misty mythical mourning veils
lifted grace ,long set sail
after blended years, missing tears and crying fears
written walls of brick and stone
now aged in a future dance
chance has formed above the pool of broken glass
her chest starts heaving
pulsing decieving
traitorous sensation -tortuous emblazoned ,
nerves growling in growth
she remembers him slicing his flesh
with steel razor in test
life did create the theatres mistake
photos of images
drunken pilgrimages
lean and dark-crushed and small
graveyards to banquet hall
decades wearing eras
she places the receiver nearer to hear him
whispers in showers,meteors of flowers
like autumn leaves the years just blow away
misfortune has been listed
spelling corrected
she sits down waiting
anticipating ,arrival,survival
love completing
the view from the glazing
shows a man distended - frosted in creases
she slowly unwraps the door to greet him
love is the moment when time runs retreating
and the lines on their palms
mix and disolve
so lost with direction,
painted eaten servedÂ
years grow unshaved from fears

Lovely alliteration and imagery here!Â
thanks for taking time to read
Fine examples of alliterative phrasing are scattered all throughout this poetic proclamation portraying lost love, Terry.
Bravo!
