love is a disease

Love is a dream
a fairytale
never a reality

its a hope
non-existent
love is the devil
trapping me in
an eternal hell

love is torture
it is pain
being chained down
by someone elses hands

love is not being alone
love is being bombarded by others need

love is an aweful disease.

Hi there Krystyn, although I disagree with this poem I give it 5 stars because it is written from your point of view and what love means to you.

I hope in time that love will come to mean something positive.

Thank you Syd. Maybe I will be able to change my mind some day but right now not really. I say love is a disease because it can lead people to do things that they would not normally do. Sometimes it can be good and change us for the better, (a good disease) or it can change us for the worse (a bad disease). That is my opinion.
