Love is not a Game
Some say love is just a game
That two are playing
Love is nothing than a
Game of chance
The one who chooses
Very often loses
I say love is a contest
That everyone is trying
To find their perfect match
Who will win the heart
Of the lovely maiden
Or tame the ugly beast
Who will bring out the best in
Someone or the worst
Why do we even bother with
The heartache you ask
The payoff is worth more
Than the task
Believe their is someone out there
Waiting just for you
Who is going to give
You your dream come true

Do you like it?
Not trying to be mean but why do you keep asking people on EVERY single poem you post "Do you like it?" I like your writing but if people wanted to comment on it they would. You are a good writer so you don't need to ask people to comment on your poems. They will if they want to. I enjoy reading your poems but the first comment is always you. Sorry but I have seen this in the past and others seem to only care about the attention they receive and not focused on what the poem is trying to convey to others who read it. Best of luck! I'm sorry if I seemed harsh. I have just seen too many people that got nominated simply because they beg for attention.
I am sorry if it may seem like I am begging for attention, but I am just seeing all of the views and I am getting little to no feedback. Thank you for stating your opinion. In fact I find your brutal honesty very refreshing! Thank you. :)
Grace - I am so happy to hear you did not take what I said in the wrong way. I can tell you have much to offer your readers on this website. Keep up the good work! I have no doubt that you will get a ton more comments on your work soon!
