Love Story

Message in a Bottle

Love Story

There was once a sacred message that had been thrown into rugged.
An emotion that had come from chapters of a past
and as the scent of the Ocean touched the air,
the windswept sand had somehow brought breathe back into its words,
a chapter of love that once belonged to another.
She had viewed it, scanned the essence of a heartache once lived.
With whom it was meant for could no longer be buried by the hands of time
and from where did love write about a truth so raw?
It was as if breaking waves had given it a purpose by casting it back onto the shore.
Her tears soaked each line as the words warmed her soul
an awakening that was somehow meant to bring its meaning back from the depths
A strangers heartache written as a final goodbye, before death would claim her.
This message in a bottle that was once meant for the end of a love,
would soon shower the beginning of another.
