Love Triangle No More

Love Triangle No More

It's a funny thing only a few people have got.

It's a bloody war only a few of them have fought.

The irony in it all is that no one ever wins.

He gets her, she gets him, he's alone, it always results in sin.

This isn't a TV show, people don't die.

Jealousy takes over, but people just cry.

Sometimes when this triangle becomes two, the third is unstable,

Slitting wrists and everything, this is still no show, he's still not able

To realize she's just a girl. She's not worth the blood and tears.

Look beyond her,my friend, look far beyond your peers.

There are thousands, millions, none just like her.

But then again that's the point. “ None just like her “ he repeats “ none just like her “

But “ her “ is what he wants and “ Her “ is what he needs.

She's like a drug to him, both a cure and a disease.

Go see a doctor. I heard they heal pain.

But only in the physical way. I guess, now he's been slain.

He's been torn apart, by love and his best friend.

Those wrists he's slit… forget it. He has only been bent.

He's still alive? Right? With scars in his heart.

No one will see his pain, and again he starts

To cry away everything but what he can't see is that there is still one person who will see scars, And battle marks.

She's the one with the key. The golden one.

Not the rotten old bark.

She's the one he will love.

She is his playful little shove

That puts him back on his feet

That makes him feel no longer defeat.

Is she you? Are you him? You never know… it could be.
