Love Unwrapped

She caught my eyes
I saw through her disguise
makeup caked on heavy
covering her pain
Our paths crossed
leading to the same lane
we both were souls
going against the grain
Wondering why ?
life hasnt been moving
smoothly
She has my eyes glued
to hers
H0W GOOD IT FEELS
to be a part of
her presence
She's a gift
present

Seeing beauty in the broken is what I felt here. Delicately written, which reflects the tenderness intended in this poem. A gentle gaze into a troubled soul, who has much more in her than she knows. Great writing Rob x
