The Calling of Summer

Rivers come flowing upon a midnight dream,
and in sorrow they find a life among the stars of the night in blue.
There is nothing calling and the light pervades the essence of green
when midnight blues come calling upon the green of a winter's dream.
I know nothing of love and in this sorrow, I find you calling to me
upon the means to find you screaming at a midsummer night's peace.
Let it be with me tomorrow and beckon me to stay forever
as night comes calling and the nightshade prevents me from staying.
Death upon all who come crawling and to summer will I forever sway.
