Across the rigid brim
nights cracked and filling glass
beneath a scarlet opium moon
silver darting invades a passion blamed
until impregnated morning reigns
such a gentle touch
with silent echo's claw
Now watery drops in heavens frame
unwilling run an angels name
slashed the vein
as tumbling life
that circus in the act
a swimming beast
circles loves drowning grasp
wooden creaking stares
step lightly with heavy care
high the lowest ceiling
low the highest pit
your soft breath
rests its mellow escape
while me in stolen precision
presents an act
caught yet brought by the executioner's axe
but across the night's brim
in glass cracked brown and green
my sight will dream
lips were torn
skin removed in waxy dawns
inside you
