Love’s First Sight

I’d never known pure love before, till the night that I met you;
We talked and danced for hours, our feelings quickly grew!
We kissed goodnight at two a.m., I saw stars I’d never seen;
Eight hours later, I called you, with fast pumping adrenaline!

I asked you out to dinner, you immediately said yes;
When I arrived, you knocked my socks off, so sexy were you dressed!
We came back and turned the lights down, canoodled and held tight;
I left late, we made arrangements, to meet again that night!

You joined me at a party, a very large Halloween dance;
We could not disguise the fact that, we shared a true romance!
Then we went to breakfast, we sat close, my body was on fire;
We kissed goodnight at four a.m., we burned with pure desire!

Seven hours later, we met again, I drove us to Rockport beach;
We kissed for an hour by the ocean, emotions height we reached!
After sipping some clam chowder, we headed into Beantown;
Benihanas our destination, teppanyaki dinner and sake downed!

We parted around eight-thirty, knowing our Souls were ever bound;
We sipped Champagne the next evening, and pledged the love we’d found!
That was over twenty-seven years ago, November 2nd, 1992;
“Love’s First Sight” came easily, the night that I met you!
