Love’s Funeral

Love’s Funeral

When Love ends,
it is not a celebration
It is a burial of feelings,
an upcome of emotions
Eyes watering, lips trembling
trying to mask the pain in your heart.

It is lost,
never to be again
You hear it in the wind
like an angels whisper
His voice, ceasing to exist.

We learn to let go,
of all memories our heart held dear,
our souls still longing to be touched
Of his voice, his smile,
of everything you knew and loved.

With time passing,
you learn to love again
And you understand that even if
we’ve seen many love end,
there will come a day
when Love remains to be.
