LOVING STRANGERS

ME HOLDING THE SHADOWS CLAW

Such loving strangers we have become
dangling on that first dew
stranded as the lost footprint
vacation in snow

kisses we have nailed
onto our crucified lips
pockets spilling lies
loving strangers we are

so many days betrayed in warm
scented fields
crowded hearts watching the crashing skies
stayed too long on youths door
and the answer flooded in thought
scared across ploughed fresh form

Wars burning the last dance floors
horses galloping into a foaming bleached scar
fucking truth is written
on the creased pages
LOVING STRANGERS WE ARE
LOVING STRANGERS WERE.
