Lullaby
*Larry's Most Beautiful Place Challenge*
Hush mine child hush,
Cross cheeks ablush.
Know thou art secure,
Innocence remains pure.
Rock mine child rock,
Heed twilight hourΒ clock.
Woeful cries at nightΒ
Orbs resound bright.
Rest mine child rest,
Be assured thou art blest.
Dwell soft in slumber-land,
Hoodwinked byΒ Sandman.
Mine lips sing sweetly,
Melodious so greet thee.
Tis I most content be
Countenance so lovely
Eyes so drowsily slip,
Hitched atop soft lip.
Be I sorely amiss,
Deny nowt tender kiss.
Upon downy brow,
I promise a vow.
ArmsΒ vigilant hold,
Timeworn enfold.
One dayΒ I cast abed,
Thou lull me instead.
