Luna

One light fades to many

Running from the rise

Disappearing into shadows

As we approach the night

A familiar friend the moon

Shining bold and white.

How are we plunged in darkness

When the sky is filled with light

More light than ever before

Candles twinkling in the night

Luna shine down on me

Bathe me in your spotlight.

Carry me to the dawn.

So I can say goodnight.
