Lyrical Memories

Lyrical Memories

You played me well like a worn out song.
I realized after I fell I loved you for way to long.
Heart crumbling under my feet.
Never realized until after the replay that I was too weak,
and when I try hard not to bleed
my mind goes blank and it grows hard to speak.
Throat closed tight so hard to breath
afraid the times will disapear when I give up and I have to blink.
I took a chance to start over again.
Lyrics fade out with my memories within.
Through all the challenges hard to face
we always end up back in the same place.
Cheeks painted red and tear stained,
reality falls and we realize that loss is nothing but pain.
Trails are a gift from fear,
because once they're gone they lead you here.
Disaster uncovers who you should strive to be,
and in your ear is whispered our lyrical memories.
