Magic Car - 1966 Ford Mustang

Magic Car - 1966 Ford Mustang

MAGIC CAR
Circa 1970

The only new car Dad owned
was a 1966 Ford Mustang
that was beige colored.

When I was little, and
we pulled up to a stop sign,
Dad would say,
“Mustang car,
which way should we go?”

The car blinker went on and
Dad would say,
“Mustang car says
we should turn this way!”

I would sit there
with my eyes and mouth wide open
and he would laugh hard.

Sometimes at a stop sign,
he would say,
“Go ahead Jimmy,
ask the car!”

I asked and
the car blinker told us
which way to go.

I really thought we had
magic car!

Dad would laugh and laugh.
