Magical Things You Do

I wish I could write a novel
An epic account of our love in fiction
In conveying this extraordinary bond we share Mere facts falter in description
Full of magic, romance and adventure
A brilliant and captivating edition
A story of such magnitude would be a more accurate depiction
I wish I could compose for you
A powerful passionate love song
So beautiful and enticing
That spirits, god's and fairies would sing along
Articulate poetic lyrics
Frank but flowing
Easily showing just how I feel inside
And music so enchanting It starts a glowing emotion growing
Leaving listeners knowing how it feels when galaxies collide
I wish that I could paint for you
A magnificent monumental mural
That would take your breath away
Striking and vivid
A radiant site
To fill you with joy as you pass by each day
I wish I could build you a towering castle
Or scrawl your name in the sky
Perhaps create some brilliant masterpiece
To convey how I love you and why
I can not render your portrate with required expert artistry
To portray your true splendor, beauty and nobility
I have not the talent nor dexterity to play you a melody as mesmerizing and exciting As your voice is when you sing to me
I haven't the articulation to formulate a discription
Of just what you have become to me
Not that any words could ever suffice
To explain this bond and this emotion between us
That somehow coaxed warmth and passion
From a heart as cold as ice
I could never show you all of this
Inside my mind and heart
Nothing so fierce and dynamic could fit in a work of art
So perfect and so improbable
This union of you and I
Even telling our story out loud Sounds like an outrageous lie
I suppose I am left with just one option
To express with appropriate magnitude
My gratitude
And this love I feel for you
To spend every moment of my life
Attempting to reciprocate your kindness and affection
And all those magical things you do
