" MAGNIFICENT JOY "

Onward, oh beast of joy
Thou canst not stay above,
Such outwardly magnificent joy,
In that early evening peach grove
As sunlight, begs its departure...
I pray on things unbeknownst,
The dew of morning's glitter,
Whether the sun will drench the face
Of the magnificent joy,
That perpetuates a smile upon the face
Of the light of the soul....
Where morning fairies, dance
Familiar ballets, and string quartets
Creating happiness of the heart
Ever so softly, alighting upon petals
That glimmer with magnificent joy...
A kindly magnificence
That tickles, luminous fibers
Where singular butterflies
Come to perch, and spread
The golden pollen,
Of that subliminally familiar,
Magnificent joy...
Tony Taylor. (Chicago)

Hi, my great Tony,
Every time I read one of your poems, they take me to such challenging depths. You are such a magnificent writer. A man for all seasons. They had their "Walt Whitman", we have our "Tony Taylor".
Peace, Love and Rockets,
