Poem -

Maiden

Fair maiden she
Who fancied me
To keep her young and well reservedΒ
Thirty scars over thirty years

I remember this woman
Wearing rags for robes
Who stayed in doors
While she left the outside closedΒ

Fair maiden she
The world much thought her fatherΒ
Who never knew of
Her gentleman callersΒ

Of me she never once spakeΒ
But she fancied me
For her beauty was at stakeΒ
But She's only been captured in a dream
